The village hotel, established in 1836 has always played an important part of the Gullane community. Surrounded by 22 golf courses including the famous Muirfield Golf course, the host of many open Championships and the renowned Archerfield on the doorstep, the charming village of Gullane has always attracted visitors from far and afield.

Michelin star chef Tom Kitchin and Michaela, the husband and wife team behind the popular restaurants in Edinburgh took over the village hotel and spent months renovation and restoring the building to showcase many of its original features which had been hidden for years.

The main house proudly expresses a genuine home away from home ethos where guests instantly connect with its charming and beautifully reinstated décor.

The Bonnie Badger features 13 individually designed en-suite Deluxe, Superior and Loft bedrooms as well as a Master suite, situated across the main house as well as two exterior cottages, Hazel and Honeysuckle cottages adjacent to the garden.

The Stables features a truly impressive ceiling showcasing the original beams of the old horse stable building dating back to the early days of the Inn, which was founded in 1836 at the heart of the Gullane community.
