Our Experiences

Carnoustie Hole 13

It’s easy to see why a trip to the Old Course at St Andrews is a more of a spiritual pilgrimage than a simple pitch and putt – known the world over as the ‘home of golf’, the game has been played at this legendary links course, in one form or another, for over 600 years.  If you’ve ever dreamt of teeing off towards those unique double greens, and have always fancied a stroll across the Swilcan Bridge, a St Andrews golf holiday offers the perfect package.

What to expect on a luxury golf break

The Experience St Andrews are past masters in providing luxury golf vacations, and our appointment as an Authorised Provider of Old Course Tee Times by St Andrews Links Trust means we can guarantee your golf break includes a round on the Old Course.

Old Course

Our golf stay and play packages don’t end at the 18th hole though. While in the ‘Auld Grey Toun’ of St Andrews, you can take in some of the local – sometimes bloody and supernatural – history at the ancient castle, cathedral and churches, before sampling what’s on offer at the welcoming pubs, restaurants and locally owned shops. Or spend some time on one of Scotland’s most beautiful beaches, at St Andrews West Sands, where the famous Chariots of Fire scene was filmed.

To make the most of your tee-time, our trips can combine your rounds at St Andrews with rounds at more of Scotland’s championship courses, where you can also make the most of your free time by taking in the spectacular scenery (and maybe a whisky tour) on a Highlands tour, or take a trip to Edinburgh to sample the best of Scotland’s ancient past and modern future.

Our luxury four or five star accommodation comes with breakfast included each morning, and we’ll get you to and from each of the courses and any hotel transfers. We can also arrange airport transfers  - you’ll be left wanting for nothing both on and off the course.

All tours also offer packages for non-golfers, in case you or any of your party fancy some time away from the fairway.
