Featured hole – Hole 3
This is Scotland, where the wind provides a constant accompaniment to your game. The first three holes on each nine parallel the coast and one or the other will always be either upwind or downwind. The remainder sit on a lovely plateau right on the sea's edge with amazing 'infinity' edges. But the third hole is something special, a perfectly designed links-style par-4 complete with an elevated vanishing green behind a maze of cleverly situated bunkers. You should be able to drive it as long as the prevailing winds are strong enough but it's never easy, a worthy challenge for even the finest player.
