Our golfers have all left the Old Course for the season, there is a definite chill in the air and our beautiful green leafy trees are turning fiery shades of orange and red…its officially the end of the 2019 season. And what a season it was! For anyone who was with us this year, it was our pleasure to look after you and we hope you had a truly memorable experience.

“What do you do in the winter?” is a question we get asked a lot! And the short answer is A LOT! There is, of course, much needed vacation time but everyone is just as busy as they are when the golfers are all here! The off-season is also a great time for our team to get out and visit the courses and hotels we work with throughout the rest of Scotland, the UK and Ireland. The team have already toured the Dublin area and Northern Ireland and have trips planned throughout Scotland for the upcoming weeks. This is a great time to look at any new courses, hotels and even restaurants to recommend. Where do you think we need to check out? Please do get in touch on Facebook or Twitter and let us know. We are always keen to hear from past or future guests!

This year, as well as wrapping up 2019 reports and analysis, preparing all 2020 customer files and selling our few remaining Old Course tee times for 2020, this year we are also busy selling our Open programmes for 2020 and 2021. If you haven’t already gotten in touch with us to enquire about The Open or any of our Experience Programmes, please do so soon!

We will leave you all with a traditional Scottish saying as this year draws to a close;

May the best ye've ever seen be the worst ye'll ever see, May a moose ne'er leave yer girnal wi'a tear drap in his e'e, May ye aye keep hale and he'rty till ye're auld enough tae dee, May ye aye be juist as happy as I wish ye aye tae be.
