The Experience St Andrews team visited the recently opened Kingsbarns Distillery just a few miles from St Andrews for a guided tour. This is the first single malt whisky distillery in the delightful East Neuk of Fife and is situated on the Cambo Estate near the village of Kingsbarns and by Kingsbarns Golf Links.

Built in a converted farm steading, the visitor centre features an exhibition and the opportunity to go inside the original 18th century doocot housing the first cask of whisky filled at the distillery.

The guide explained the Scotch Whisky making process and showed us around the working distillery - finishing with a whisky tasting!
